The April meeting was held at Ben and Mary’s GJ Ceramics on Thursday the 2nd.

In attendance were: Ron Cloyd, Pat Feinberg, Susan Wallace, Joanie Post, Betty Cotter, Ruth McCrea, Ben McFarlin, Nina Williams, Jack Griggs, Ronda Clark, Harold Snider,  Beth Walker, Lindaa, McBride
 
We had two new members in attendance,  big welcome to Mary Scogin and Jan McRae!
 
The upcoming show at Great Frame Up is progressing.  The list of participants is quite adequate to make for a successful showing.  If you intend to participate and have not yet gotten on the list, please contact me ASAP.
  The show will start on May 1, in conjunction with First Friday. The reception will start that Friday evening at 6:00pm, and run until 9:00, or until the customers quit coming. We will leave the show up for a week. Each participant should bring up to 3 pieces for the first evening, but leave just 1 (due to space constraints) for the remainder of the time. Jan won’t collect any commission for the Friday evening, but thereafter will charge 20%.  Participants are asked to help with a small snack tray on opening night. 
 
 
 
The Randy Brodnax – Don Ellis workshop has been cancelled.  There were not enough participants this time to make it go.
 
For the May meeting, Ben will discuss and demonstrate electric kiln maintenance. This one should be a must for anyone using an electric.
 
The June meeting will be a “Whoopee It’s Summer!” potluck on the patio.  Dixie and I would like to host the meeting on June 6th (Saturday) Mark your calendars. Spouses are invited.
