The February meeting was held on 2/5 at Ben and Mary’s GJ Ceramics.

Members present were Ron Cloyd, Harold Snider, Betty Cotter, Rut McCrea, Bob Walsh, Ronda Clark,
Deb Stewart, Beth Walker, Mickie Harshman, and Joanie Post. Also in attendance was
Jeff Karner, a potter from Delta who may be interested in joining the guild.

Business discussed during the February meeting included:
  Upcoming show at The Great Frameup Gallery is still in the planning stages, no
new progress

  Bob Walsh is still buried in mud. The wood firing is postponed until the ground dries up.
  The workshop with Randy Brodnax will be at the end of May, and first day of June.
Dates are May 30, 31 and June 1st. This will be a weekend of alternative firings,
kiln building and engobe application.  The fee for the weekend will be $250.00, with
half payment due by April 15.  More details on this to come.

  We will be having a Saturday video day on February 28th. Starting about 10:30 AM,
this will be a finger food lunch pot luck at Ron and Dixie’s.  For directions you can
contact Ron at 245-2320.  We have several ceramic/pottery videos to choose from, and
more are welcome if members want to bring one.

This month’s activity was an open discussion of various pieces. Everyone brought pictures
 of pieces that they particularly admired, and the esthetics of these bantered about.
