The May meeting was held on Thursday the 7th, at GJ Ceramics. Members present were Ron Cloyd, Harold  Snider, Joan Woodward, Ronda Clark, Betty Cotter, Ruth McCrea, and Ben McFarlin.

Business this month was electric kiln maintenance, presented by Ben McFarlin. Ben exhibited a number of examples of kiln failures and their causes. He also explained the procedures and techniques required to prevent such failures.  Members should be aware that Ben is an authorized Scutt service contact for the western slope.

Ronda Clark told the group about her trip to NCECA.

June Meeting will be a potluck at Ron’s house. We will hold the meeting on Saturday, June 6th,  Starting about 4:00 pm. Spouses and significant others are invited!
