The November meeting was held at GJ Ceramics on Thursday, the 5th.  Members in attendance were Ron Cloyd, Harold Snider, Betty Cotter, Pat Feinberg, Bob Peterson, Ruth McCrea, Joan Woodward, Gen Morris, Annie Stanfield, Ben and Mary McFarlin, Joanie Post, and Jake Allee.

Some discussion was held concerning the upcoming show at Great Frame Up. Several ideas were brought up about publicity, signage, display and food.  Pat, Annie and Gen volunteered to help with planning. If anyone else in interested in helping with planning this, please contact me ASAP.  We will need photographs of current work from several members to put together a publicity poster.  If you have something, please email it to me as soon as you can.  If you would like to have a piece included but need help in photographing a piece, I will be available to assist you.  There will be more to come on this, so please watch your emails.

The December meeting will be held at Mesa State, in the Ceramics Dept. Jake Allee will present a slide show about his adventures in Cambodia, and ask several of his students to present their work to the Guild. This is a pot luck dinner evening, but will not be the annual holiday party. We will also have election of officers at this meeting. I will send out another reminder as time gets near.

The annual holiday pot luck will be held on January on Saturday the 16th.  This one will be for members and their spouses.  We will do the gift exchange at this also. Dixie and I will host at our home.  More on this as time gets closer.

This month’s theme was show and tell. Most members in attendance brought in an example or two of current work, and talked about their technique and influence.
