Being a part of the Western Colorado Center for the Arts has allowed me to take workshops from experienced potters to broaden my artistic abilities. I have always studied under Terry Shepherd who has influenced the style of my pottery. I joined the Grand Junction Clay Arts Guild in January 2010 so I could further participate in the local art community. I love pottery and would eventually like to pursue art as a career. Even though pottery is my main passion, I enjoy a variety of arts including dancing and occasionally acting.
