Desert Varnish Petroglyph

This pattern was inspired by a drive to Moab, Utah. The slickrock of the Colorado Plateau has been a favorite place for me to explore, hike and camp. This design is done with two stains and each petroglyph carved into the clay. Many of the designs are from the area surrounding us in western Colorado and eastern Utah.
